The person with resilience has previously suffered from shocking changes, and has learned to intuitively anticipate and prepare for future shocking changes. An empowered person does not feel trapped without options.
By being calm in an unpredictable environment, a person is able to be flexible and confident when confronted with adversity. When calm, a person can think creatively, use emotional and physical resources sparingly, and quickly bounce back up.
Resilient people strive to minimize any depletion of emotional or physical resources. They build up and save emotional and physical resources, to later endure, transition, and achieve through shocking future changes. Anticipating future changes, they prepare for their future.
Are you an achiever or an under-achiever? Achievers see life as a step-by-step, logical sequence of events, and don’t view sudden drastic change as being unnatural. Under-achievers are emotionally unaware, don’t tolerate vagueness, have a distorted view of reality, have no resilience, spend their time and energy making themselves appear as being good and clear of blame, increase other people’s anxiety and hostility, blame others, demoralize others, and bring failure to others.
During a sudden, shocking change, resilient achievers calmly focus on the new advantages and opportunities suddenly created by the shocking change. They don’t spend emotional and physical resources trying to avoid the problem. Their thoughts, energy, emotions, and efforts are focused on today’s opportunity, striving to quickly achieve success, as they daily transition through the course of events.
When thrown off-course by unanticipated events, resilient people live pleasantly and calmly with vagueness and unknowns. By mentally reframing their situation, they immediately regain their sense of direction, and move towards their goals.
Realizing that sudden change is normal and natural, and expecting change, resilient people are daily prepared for new opportunities. Viewing life as a constantly shifting set of variables, they know that each day brings new opportunities and new choices. They daily reframe their circumstances and goals.
The emotions of resilient achievers are never drained, because they immediately run away from any trivial situation that could drain their emotional or physical resources. They don’t waste time, thoughts, or energy. They are careful to never over-extend themselves. They cautiously minimize any use of their time, emotions, physical energy, money, or other resources.
Successful people, who achieve greatness, separate life’s time-consuming, trivial pursuits out and away from their important goals. They focus only on what’s important in life, and ignore everything else.
Being focused on opportunities, resilient people know the value of relationships. They spend much time nurturing energetic relationships with individuals who have common goals. They know when and how to ask for help. Their friendships provide love, acceptance, rejuvenation of energy, and perspective.
Achievers realize that daily change is an opportunity that is to be quickly pursued. These people, focused on opportunities, realize that change is a part of the human experience. They purposefully move in sync with daily change, constantly reframing and adapting, each day. Mental reframing provides a fresh perspective and generates a new plan, to regain stability and productivity. They daily expect, anticipate, and prepare for the next Big Change.
Successful people are resilient and focused on opportunities. They do not have any belief or anticipation that life follows a logical sequence of events. Seeing that life is filled with vagueness and unknowns, they are comfortable with confusion, and not troubled by contradictions. Their balanced perspective sees both the opportunities and the dangers. They see the humor in serious circumstances. They see the order amidst the chaos. They see the constancy within the transition. They realize that perfection is always impossible. They act with loving patience during urgent circumstances.
Resilient people view life as complex, and daily filled with new, positive opportunities. They interpret the world as multifaceted and overlapping. They expect each day and the future to be filled with constantly changing variables. They view disruption as a natural result of a changing world. They believe that new opportunities exist and that life is rewarding. They respond to uncertainty with flexibility. They manage vagueness and unknowns in an organized, structured manner. They don’t defend themselves against change but instead gracefully move with the flowing change, being pro-actively engaged in activities to reach their goals. They are positive, focused, flexible, organized, and pro-active.
Flexible, resilient people have a high tolerance for unknowns, so they recover quickly from disappointment. They feel empowered during change. They reframe situations daily. They recognize the new strengths & weaknesses. They actively pursue supportive & nurturing relationships. Resilient people change with patience, understanding, and joy.
Being organized, resilient people apply boundaries and structure to manage vagueness. They sort unrelated things into a single project with a central theme. They adjust priorities, multi-task, and know when to ask for help.
Each day, being pro-active, resilient people creatively reframe their situation, gather new approaches, maneuver circumstances to take an opportunity, see change as advantageous, respond to disruptions with energy and teamwork, and resolve conflict.
Successful people mentally reframe their daily situation, and focus on the new opportunities. Successful people work quickly to create and nurture energizing relationships, so that they can better succeed in a changing world. Energetic relationships promote creativity, empowerment, and resilience.
